Cailleach Dubh

On his latest episode of @blindboypodcast, Blindboy shared a mythical interaction with a cormorant and mentioned that as gaeilge, they are known as “cailleach dubh.” Last year as the Cailleach was transforming to Bríd, @jen_learns_stuff and I saw these cormorants along the Grand Canal on a pilgrimage to St Brigid’s well in Clondalkin.
